Obama Launches Presidential Exploratory Committee
From barackobama.com:
“And that’s why I wanted to tell you first that I’ll be filing papers today to create a presidential exploratory committee. For the next several weeks, I am going to talk with people from around the country, listening and learning more about the challenges we face as a nation, the opportunities that lie before us, and the role that a presidential campaign might play in bringing our country together. I’ll undoubtedly write more about Mr. Obama over the coming months and years, as I find myself enamored with his speaking style. I’m not sure if it’s truly that he’s a fantastic orator, or if I’m just yearning to hear a competent sentence come from within the walls of the White House. I’m excited to hear that he has taken the “first step” to making a run for the oval office. There’s still a lot to be shown on whether or not he has what it takes to get elected in this country, but at this point, I’m just truly excited at the prospect.

David- Sorry to post this unrelated comment here, but I was hoping to get in touch with you and couldn’t find an email address anywhere. Anyway, I was wondering if you could offer some insight into the “What I’m Reading” plugin you’re using in your sidebar. I noticed in your comment at the plugin author’s blog that you initially encountered some php errors when setting it up. I am also getting those same error messages, and I’m not sure how to resolve them. Can you offer any help on how you got it working? Many thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
